Pizza is one of the foods that have their origins in the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean, then Italy took them, which became famous for it, having excelled in its manufacture in different ways, and various delicious dishes, and it is known to the greatest number, consisting of a circular dough, cut in the shape of triangles covered with tomato sauce and cheese, mainly, and differing in the rest of the ingredients, each according to his desire, it is possible to add vegetables, or minced meat, or mushrooms.

And because the dough is one of the bases of the pizza, in this article we are going to present you a dough prepared quickly, which is the dough of ten minutes, which can be used in case of emergency, or in case of sudden presence of friends or relatives, and it should be noted that this dough can be used for many other pastries in addition to pizza, it can be used for meat pies, or beehive ornaments.

Pizza dough in ten minutes

The ten minute dough consists of two parts, one part is made and fermented for ten minutes, and another part is added after the dough is fermented.


the first part

  • Four cups of sifted flour.
  • Half a cup of sugar.
  • Two tablespoons of instant yeast.
  • Four cups of lukewarm water.
  • A pinch of salt (half a teaspoon).

second section

  • Six cups of sifted flour.
  • A cup of any type of oil.

how to prepare

  • Mix the ingredients of the first section between them, adding the sugar to the flour, the yeast and the salt, then knead with lukewarm water, then leave to rest for ten minutes. (The dough here is not firm, but rather soft).
  • We add the second part to the dough after it has rested, that is, we add the oil and the flour, but gradually it is possible that we need more or less flour than the amount in the above ingredients, due to the different types of flour.
  • Knead until you get a homogeneous dough that does not stick to your hands.
  • Divide the dough into several medium-sized balls.
  • Form each of the balls into a thin round dough, ready to add the pizza ingredients.
  • Note: This quantity is important, sufficient for large families.
  • Grease the surface of the dough after preparing it and spread it with tomato sauce, adding crushed garlic, a little salt and black pepper, then sprinkle it with municipal thyme.
  • We add the rest of the ingredients as desired, for example, we add brown olives, yellow corn, all kinds of peppers, mushrooms and sesame can also be added, and onions.
  • Add a pinch of yellow cheese, according to your taste.
  • Add pieces of small meat, sausage, mortadella or ground beef. (my choice)
  • We put the pizza in the oven at medium temperature from the bottom, then burn it from the top for a few minutes until the cheese melts.
